Blessed Tree

When I saw this tree in a dessert it made me think of Jeremiah 17:7-8! The gradient from blue to green gives us a picture of how God's blessings rain down on us. When we trust in the Lord we are like a tree firmly planted by streams of water. I love the contrast and picture of the dry dessert and how this promise says that even when heat comes, its leaves are always green!
Jeremiah 17:7-8 reads: "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."
